Newcastle Premier Health provides assessment and treatment for adults with Mental Health problems; such as anxiety, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD and psychiatric problems arising from brain injury and other neurological disorders.
Please Note: We DO NOT provide urgent or immediate mental health care. If you have an urgent health concern you should contact your Crisis Team, GP or attend A&E / NHS Walk in Centre.
What to expect when referring to Newcastle Premier Health for a Mental Health assessment:
The initial assessment is with a Consultant Psychiatrist to determine the options available to you. This may include a follow up physical health screening which would include blood tests for common problems associated with mental health problems and an ECG.
At the end of the initial assessment, treatment choices will be discussed with you.
Options may include repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) delivered by Newcastle Premier Health in partnership with TLPC.
Alternative options may include referrals into our trusted partners or to the NHS.
Our Mental Health / rTMS service is currently at full capacity and we are unfortunately unable to take on any new patients at this time.
If you would like us to contact you once we have availability, please submit your details. A member of our support team will then be in touch as soon as the next Initial Assessment appointment becomes available.
If you are uncertain about whether an Initial Assessment would be helpful, please call us on 0191 605 3140.

TLPC is recognised by the Care Quality Commission as a leading mental health service provider, contributing to the advancement of mental health care and life changing treatments through the provision of rTMS is the UK.
