7 miles, 7 days in a row

June 12th, 2018

In support of the If U Care Share Foundation.

Lloyd van Konijnenburg and Mark Philpott volunteered to run 7 miles, 7 days in a row to raise money for a charity which is close to both of their hearts. They ran a total of 49 miles to support the If U Care Share Foundation.

If U Care Share is a foundation which was set up in 2005 and supports individuals who are tackling emotional and mental health issues with the aim to prevent suicide – they also offer support and guidance for the families of individuals of whom it is too late.

Both Lloyd and Mark are incredibly grateful to everyone for their support – with donations coming for as far as the United States of America. They have shared their journey in a bid to raise further awareness of the If U Care Share Foundation:

Day 1 (10/06/2018): Sunday marked the start of our challenge; Lloyd choose the picturesque route of Newburn to Wylam and was joined by friends for the last 3 miles. Whilst Mark geared himself up for the #WTSLeeds Triathlon event – recording his personal best time of 2 hours and 23 minutes.
